I specialise in helping
vendors launch new IT software solutions and develop effective
marketing campaigns on demand. I am a cost effective
freelancer who combines the technical insight and
understanding offered by the OVUM and Butler Group analysts with a
wealth of marketing knowledge that comes from my long experience of
developing and executing 'go to market' strategies.
My aim is to develop the 'go to market' strategy and
compelling propositions and then to build appropriate sales and
marketing messaging. This sometimes requires a review of the solution
names and the look and presentation of the web site and may even involve
a review of the pricing structures to take account of different channels
to market. I am also an expert on search engine optimisation and
building accessible web sites.
Often I am asked to look at competitive positioning
and to do a market analysis and review. I may be requested to build a
return on investment case and present that in a White Paper. But I also
research and write independent White Papers and all forms of content for
web use etc as required.
As an Associate Industry Analyst and Consultant with
OVUM Butler Group I am ale to either undertake original research to
produce White Papers and other marketing and sales material that you
require using the OVUM and Butler Group brands with their support, or to
re-purpose existing research to produce White Papers or other Marketing
Collateral that positions your own solutions in the market and then
explains their specific capabilities, maybe including a Butler Group or
OVUM Technology Assessment.
I also undertake due diligence for venture capital
companies and other investors and I deliver a Venture Analyst service
for OVUM / Butler Group that helps present the market opportunity of a
company to potential purchasers or investors.
